We’re honoured to reveal to you the recipients of the annual PETCO Awards — our list of change-makers in communities around the country.
These recipients work tirelessly — often with little recognition — to uplift their communities by ridding the environment of waste which can be collected and recycled, creating much- needed income opportunities in the waste sector, and therein boosting South Africa’s economy.
To this end, we’re excited to announce Season 2 of our documentary series, which wil be launching in the coming months.
Directed by acclaimed director Louw Venter, the series follows actor and influencer Lindiwe Dim as she travels the country to speak to these sustainability champion award winners. She speaks to the winners about their journeys in the waste sector and discovers how she — as a consumer — can get involved.
