At PETCO, we are at our best and most effective when we are working with others to achieve our goals. It is only with the support of both the public and private sectors, and the hard work of ordinary South Africans, that our country’s vision for a truly circular economy will become a reality.
In this newsletter, you’ll see just a few exciting examples of how this is happening. With regard to government, we are strengthening and expanding our network of municipal partnerships, and have just launched a fantastic separation-at-source initiative alongside the SA military.
Our PETCO members are rolling out sustainable packaging initiatives like the two-litre returnable PET bottle from Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa, while our friends at non-profit organisations like Ocean Pledge are working hard to educate vulnerable youth about the value of protecting our environmental resources.
